It does get easier

Honestly, some days are really hard, but it does get easier. you have to make a conscious choice every day. I have to accept my past and the hurt I've caused every day and keep moving. Emotions will hit you like waves. You just have to learn to ride them instead of letting them pull you under.

Thank you, I appreciate your help with my thoughts

Attitude of gratitude helps a lot

It takes time... but it does get better as long as you don't pick up one day at a time.:hugs:

You are right about that

I believe it gets easier, some days are hard. But as the days go by it gets easier. I have been sober 3 yrs 6 months thought I would never be here with God's help it gets easier. Hope this helps

Thank you,I'm staying afloat with my life and so far I've been making healthy decisions but I still have a demon whispering in my ear ,but I won't let it sink me

Yes it gets easier one day at a time. You're going to have those days that you want to just scream as long as you don't pick up, the next day gets a little brighter. Hang in there get to a meeting, listen relate meet people and your days will be better good luck I'll be praying for you Margie

There will be some days harder than others. But sober/clean makes it some easier. Find a sponsor. I have 22 yrs sober. Still some hard days but they pass.

It does get easier. Just don't give up

It gets better if you’re actively working a program of recovery. Most of us drank every day, so we need to work our program a little each day.
One day at a time

Just keep close to God that's what I do.

It gets easier. The work never ends, if that is what your asking. Self help is a never ending process of improvements. The isolation stage is tough and this app was vital, for me. After that it's about staying humble, staying active in recovery, step work. Creating your group of sober people, both me tors and peers alike.

Matt is a mentor of mine. He will shoot you straight every time. I have several. Many even.
