Hi everyone I'm Loren and I have a little over a year clean. I'm struggling to make friends who are in recovery. Is anyone from south Florida here? Would like to connect with people fighting the same battle

Hey Loren! It’s great that you are clean for more than a year! I live in Weston. It’s definitely hard to find clean and sober friends. It’s even harder to find people who, as you say, are fighting the same battle. I found some great friends at AA meetings. Do you go to any AA or NA meetings? If you are anywhere near Weston/Southwest Ranches, we can meet up at my home group and I can introduce you to some good peeps. It’s s really the only way that I know how to meet local people and meet friends to hang out with.
