Hi guys. I failed recently and fell of the wagon hard. Made a fool of myself in front of my family and today is day 2 of being sober again. How do you get past the feeling of absolute failure and the feeling that it will all happen again and again.
Hey Jon,
I’m sorry you’re feeling this way
but it seems like you’ve taken the first step in acknowledging what happened. I have faith in you. You’re here & you’re trying. You have to give yourself some credit. Sobriety isn’t easy but I’m proud of you. Day 2 into your new life. You got this my friend. We are here to support you in your journey.
Thank you so much Dana. I needed to hear that someone believes I can do it. Thank you thank you.
Of course we are in this together.
It ain’t over till it’s over. To win people back behavior must be consistent with how you see your self. Become congruent with who you want to be and the rest will fall into place.
One day at a time. Have you tried IOP or IP? Therapy and meetings changed my life also. Gotta keep yourself busy.. the cravings will pass
Day by day. You are worth it.
Don’t beat yourself up brother. Easy does it. One day at a time. With each day, you are one day stronger. If I can stay sober for 11 months, so can you! Work your program, pray, and live each day with love in your heart and kindness in your sole. With time, your sobriety will speak for itself. Stay strong
you got this.
Amen. Thank you so much. I’ll carry that into the night.
