Hi I am Marah I am addicted to methadone and anything else that can help me escape …. I think that’s why. It used to be before I had Sarah 8 years ago when I had to go on methadone instead of Suboxone because they didn’t have enough research info regarding future updates

Definitely sounds like a discussion you'll want to have with a health professional, but I know methadone can be a difficult detox. Perhaps a step down to Suboxone might be a way to start a taper. But again, definitely talk with a doc. I know it can be done though. I am clean off heroin nearly five years, but don't have any experience with methadone, however I do have friends that went the methadone route and we're able to get off it as well. You can do it!
