Hi. I became addicted to pornography when I was in elementary school. I accidentally stumbled across a DVD in the laundry room. Put it in my DVD player.... I'm almost 30 and I've severely weakened dopamine receptors in my brain to the point that I'm on medication for depression amongst other things. I lost out on scholarships, friends, experiences and love because I didn't realize I was using porn to cope with severe social anxiety. I had no friends in school because I was awkward and I had mutism. I was raised by a single parent and I had no siblings so it was just me on the bus, in class, at lunch and at home until my mom came home. I didn't realize how much pain I was in until I measured it against all the pleasure I was seeking on the internet.
