Hi I’m Melanie, I’m 100 days sober today. The loneliness has been the hardest part for me. I stopped drinking and my circle shrunk immensely. It’s really an eye opener about who your real friends are.

Relatable! I lost a lot of friends when I was drinking, then I lost the rest of them when I got sober.

It’s difficult because I live in a small town where there’s not many places to meet people. Other than bars of course and I’m trying to stay out of that scene.

Outside of AA meetings, I was able to meet new people through run clubs and church. Its hard these days though people don't leave the house anymore

I feel you Melanie. Its gonna make space for people that match your new vibe now.
Dont give up !

I totally relate, too. It is tough out there. Rely on those that stand by you!
