Hi, I’m Michael. I’m 40 and choosing sobriety because I don’t want to lose everything again. My biggest triggers are weekends and boredom. When I’m alone too long, my thoughts spiral and I’ve used drinking to shut the stress off. I’m here to learn better ways to cope, stay present, and build a life I don’t need to escape from.

Go to meetings and pray ..GOD hears you!

Hey Michael, glad you’re here. Weekends used to wreck me too—triggers, boredom, all of it. For me, boredom was a signal I didn’t know who I was without the booze. Sobriety gave me space to figure that out. What do you actually enjoy? Reading, writing, music? That kind of self-awareness is one of the best parts of recovery. You get to meet yourself for the first time.

Don't stay in your head to long, get up clean, listen to music, go outside.
Talk to a friend a sponsor, go to a meeting.
You have to give yourself grace, and always one day at time.
But you are doing great I'm proud of you
