I Irene I don’t have a code but would love one too. Just joined 3 days ago. Yeah been sober/clean many times almost yet. But now challenge accepted :upside_down_face: we’re day for day let’s keep in touch.

Yes. So today will be day 4 for me as long as I get through it. Last night was rough and I considered using but then I downloaded some more apps and so far, it’s enough. But I am dealing with some physical withdrawal symptoms like stomach pain, anxiety, restlessness.. although I do feel better mentally in some ways.

Let me know how your day went.

By the way, I downloaded an app called SoberBuddy and am doing a free week trial. One of the first suggestions was to begin a routine.. and it made me realize that this is the perfect time to establish a healthy daily routine.

The first step is very small and then you build on each new habit. The first few days is just remembering to have a water when you wake.. that is all. Once that habit is in, then you attach another. There is a great book called Atomic Habits I started a while back that I should read.

Welcome aboard everyone.

Irene, I don’t know if you do meetings, irl or zoom. I REALLY didn’t want to get involved with a program and white knuckled it through, but I was miserable. Two years into meeting and things are much better. I attend for the fellowship and support, not to work AA’s program, and that’s ok. The only requirement is a desire to stop using. Everything else is optional.

Yes on the routines!!
The times I’ve fallen I realized I hadn’t done me morning routine of ritual. :hugs::hugs::pray:t2:

I don’t. I should though. The thing is, it’s really hard for females to find a sponsor. I used to go to meetings years ago last time I got clean (a different substance which I am still off of). I never did find a sponsor.

But regardless I should go to one.
Any suggestions for zoom or online ?

If you go on YouTube check out “getting sober… again” there’s tons of great content and it’s all free!

There’s an app called AA Meeting Guide.
You can find tons of mtgs both in person and zoom.
NA also has one called NA Meeting Search.

That link is awesome. Thank you.

Thank you !
