Yes I know. I go to meetings but everyone is so much older than me or have their own friends groups

I have 5 months and 2 days still in a treatment program I'm glad to know that there's individuals who have time like I have working through the process this thing is very emotional I mean dealing with situations without any mood or mine altering chemicals. I plan to continue my recovery by going to turn in points in Georgia. That's how bad I really want this sobriety life. Stay blessed.

Congratulations Amy. 5 months and 1 day for me. Feels so good to wake up sober.
I’m 43 lol so where was these meetings retirement centers I figured you was probably talking about people well , our age . It just goes to show, we could have a lot of time sober if we stick to it. The odds are against us but we could only be half way through our life right now you never know

Welcome Amy!! I understand your dilemma. My friends in AA are all either younger or older. I seem to be on a bit of an island. And I live in a rural area where the local meetings in the surrounding towns are always the same people. To find people my age I have to drive at least an hour!! But I make the most of it. I’m glad you’re here!!!!!
