Hi, I’ve been sober for 11 days and on Saturday I’ve been to a pool party without drinking for the first time. Being sober, I’ve noticed how everyone there was looking at me as something was wrong with me. Pushing me to drink as if I was boring or not socializing because not drinking. I felt it awkward, weird, stressful and inappropriate. With me not drinking I’m now opening a new door on a whole new world, seeing things totally differently of how they were before. I’ve also noticed how drunk ppl have very bad jokes and always laugh for no reasons. Looks so stupid. A big waste of time.

It sounds like you have the right attitude. And it's true, alcohol doesn't make anyone funnier, more interesting or attractive. It's quite the opposite. The ppl who are pushing you to drink; get rid of them. Those ppl aren't meant for you and will just continue to try and drag you down to their level. They don't have your best interests in mind. Stay strong sister! You are doing great!
