Hi! I'm new here. Just graduated a 90 day rehab facility for being an alcoholic. I feel so great and happy being sober! Its been a long time. Now im in a sober living house in Portland, Or.

Congratulations, but we never graduate from being alcoholic. I have a disease that centers in my mind. It convinces me that I'm not an alcoholic, and that regardless of the horrific things I've done, it's ok for me to drink. I would highly recommend AA, and getting to at least 90 meetings in 90 days. It's the ONLY thing that I have done that has relieved me of my obsession to drink. Praying for you.

Thanks! I'm going to IOP now through the residential location I attended and going to AA. Good luck to you, we may always be alcoholics but that doesn't mean we don't have the power to not drink! Merry Christmas Eve!
