Hi, I'm new to this app. I'm 10 1/2 months single and sober. I love my new life and a job. Only downside is the loneliness. I don't associate with anyone from my life before as it has been safer and peaceful that way. But now, I have no one to talk to or go places with. I've been at home this whole time. Just work n home. Anyone from Houston that would like to help me have a safe n sober life outside home n work.....

I can relate too. It is tough. I isolated in addiction too. It definitely gets better as time goes on. Just focus on finding sober friends when you are ready. The online meetings have helped me so much as well.

Maybe try to go to a few different aa meetings and try meeting people there. That’s what I’m trying

It sure is. I've been single n sober so the loneliness is twice that hard n frustrating.
