I am a recovering alcoholic addict I've been clean for 6 years I just had my sobriety date a couple weeks ago I was going to AA meetings for my first four years when covid had hit and it kind of slowed everything down
I completely understand. I’m 2 years 2 months in my sobriety. Working the steps daily and sponsoring people who have the desire to stop drinking.
That's awesome man definitely doing the right thing paying it forward is the best feeling in the world right what help me stay grounded for the first few years was chairing meetings

Nice! Yeah chaired a few meetings. I do like speaking more at group level now. It feels good to hear others relate or hear something that they hadn’t heard or just needed to hear
Absolutely the meetings are very important I agree 2 years is a long time that's something to keep building on keep it up brother

Hey how's it going man I appreciate you reaching out so far I do like the site it's nice to have a support group around I definitely have found it where I am a workaholic sounds like you are absolutely doing the right thing sounds like you have some pretty cool Hobbies since my sobriety I go to the gym at least 5 days a week anything outdoors bike riding walking paths spending more time with family
I bet you found some pretty cool stuff metal detecting I've always wanted to try that do you recommend it
