I think defining a higher power is important. If it "can be anything" then what's the point? It's important but then it's not important? Which is it? Sounds like a load of BS to me.
No higher power here. Don't need it. I just know that people besides me are affected by my addictions. That's simple and good enough for me.

Right on Ron! I struggled for years. But a very smart woman, my sister, said I just needed to be willing; willing to open the door just a smidge, and admit that there is something out there, a power, a being anything… made sense. GOD..good orderly direction, group of drunks (that works for me) Run with scissors…do what works best for you!

Good stuff! I've made an all mighty creator of everything my higher power. And I call my creator GOD!

Totally struggled with the whole HP concept. Today I use AA as my HP. It works
