Have a plan. Ive dreaded the upcoming holidays for awhile now but they inevitably come. Im decorating anyway ... 1 foot in front of the other. Im determined to enjoy them again even without my husband and son. When i think of some tough times i got thru without alcohol i do realize my strength. The murder of my godson, the OD and death of my roommate from rehab, several major hurricanes, becoming a caretaker for my mom, the death of my beloved dog Piper and my orange cat Cheddar, both of which i buried myself...
Wanted to wish everyone on here a very happy Thanksgiving. Im so grateful for you all, your stories and posts inspire me! Cheers to a sober turkey day!!!

Teresa you are very welcome. However you do not need to thank me.
That's what we are all here for. We all share the same things in common.
