How was everyones holidays? Definitely a bit rough, wanted a celebratory drink but know that would lead back to becoming someone I am not. How do yall curb the temptations?
Hi, good morning Shaun! It’s nice to be asked about our holiday. The thing of it is is that Christmas is the time to drink, but New Year’s Eve is really a celebratory alcoholic celebration or when libations are really served in abundance.
I made it through without drinking and I had to keep myself away from my sister‘s family and I’m I’m happy that I had to do work on Christmas Day because it also gave me an excuse to not go out there because I know it’s gonna be a lot of drinking. My mom passed away five years ago This year and I was already crying the morning of Christmas. Listening to one of the songs our mother loved. and my sister was there and I just kind of cried into her shoulder she drank, but I didn’t.
