Just got my account going and set up my tracker. I've been sober 4 years, I can't believe it. Hit a bit of a rough patch lately and been wanting to use. But I'm resisting the urge! I'm not religious so I don't do NA or anything. Didn't go to rehab. Just got into trouble and was forced into sobriety and stuck with it all these years later. Trouble's gone but the effects of staying sober are gonna stick with me for years.

Stop worrying about the religious nonsense and get your a$$ to meetings. You need to hang with sober people especially when you're having a rough patch. Also check out Beyond Belief online AA meetings. They are agnostic/atheist meetings. Also look up Sober She Devils which is a women's secular AA group online.

Are there any NA virtual meetings? There aren't any in our town. My problem was narcotics not alcohol.
It is like unchained melody by the righteous brothers sometimes but worth it.

Did you do it by going to AA meetings and working the 12 steps into your life or did you do it through another program?

No meetings, no rehab, just chose to be sober and stayed that way. Thanks for the congrats.
