When I read your words , I immediately had three different definitions of “case” enter my mind, and all three of them in context to your other words were appropriate to recovery.

Those three:

a case of alcohol.
a case of the stupids.
a case in court.

Of course because I’m an Overthinker I’m thinking of three more right now :joy:
