Homeless again twice since COVID-19 hit husband had a stroke and got virus in the hospital I was in the hospital at the same time all this was going on. He’s still recovering from the stroke that’s why I got my CNA temp license I want to make permanent I love Being a hairdresser but I want to be a nurse someday my sober day I am making it for today I finally decided enough is enough I deserve a better life and my husband needs me also so here I am now what???

Hi Jaime, I had a mini stroke 20 yrs ago so I can understand. It's scary to say the least. Alcohol had nothing to do with it. I was sober back then. I did recover and I know your husband will also it all takes time. My prayers are with you both

Just take it one minute at a time that’s what I’m doing I’m on the verge of homelessness right now don’t even know if I’m gonna have a place to sleep tonight is dire situation

I’m on the verge of homelessness my husband is begging people for money to pay the bill so we can sleep somewhere I don’t know what else to do I also have an abscess tooth that I can’t find a dentist so I’m in a lot of pain sucks I got antibiotics from them but they won’t give me an appointment to pull it out so I’m in agony in and trying to stay sober I don’t have a choice but to stay sober because I don’t have any money anyway lol
