Hello Kyle 120 days is huge! Continue with action.
If you aren't i suggest working the 12 Recovery Steps with a Sponsor. My Sponsor guided me through the Steps and helped me with accountability.
When i worked the Steps I found the Promises outlined in the Book to come to fruition.
When i started my Recovery journey, it was at first for my then wife. As I worked the program of AA, I found i staued sober because I liked myself more.
I dont miss the hangovers at all, one day at a time.
@kyle75089 don't set yourself up for failure. You need to get sober for yourself. This is all on you. Don't put conditions of your sobriety on someone else.
For all we know you get sober on your own, go through all these changes to better yourself and they realize that drunk Kyle was better. Then what are you going to do? Go get drunk and throw all that you accomplished was in vain. You'd be a fool to throw away your sobriety for another human being.
Do this for yourself
You can’t do it for someone else, as much as you would like to. You have to see yourself and your behaviours that create problems. You have to choose between being the person your partner loves or being the destructive one that is hurting the one you love. Life is choices.
Thank i really like that info my wife would not like me see hurt my self and be better person
You’re not there yet. Kyle , let your partner help you through the withdrawals. Get through the first 3 days, go through the shakes and night sweats. You can do this!
