Housemates

I’m grateful for my house and roommates. Having someone around to talk to even just for a minute reminds me that I’m not alone.

"I'm grateful for my roommates" said nobody, ever!

Haha I'm kidding, I'm glad yours are a positive thing in your life

Right?? Lol but I don’t have much to complain about, they are both just as neat as me, we have plenty of separate space, and one even is a professional chef who loves to cook us all dinner on her days off :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Lucky, my last three roommates all owe me between $1,500 and $3,000… I gave up on living with people once I hit 32.

Oof, yeah sharing fiscal responsibilities is no doubt risky business. Sorry you had to deal with that

I thought about getting a roommate, but my rent is quite reasonable. I got a dog instead. He doesn't cook or clean, he just bites me a lot. At least he's housebroken.

Lol better than some roommates

Right exactly! Touch starvation is a thing, I think that's why pets can be such great therapy

Companionship is great for sobriety. Too often it is the lonely feeling that creeps in and takes over. Happy for you.
