Are you tired of the gratitudes we are asked to convey?
Lemme tell you, I'm getting tired of it.
I've got grievances, hatreds and resentments galore. Just ask me.
And you know what?
I'm working hard to get over it.

Brother, Resentment is the #1 reason most of us drank. It takes time to rid ourselves of them, but once we do let me tell you life is so much better.
You have hear it before: "get a sponsor and work the steps". THEN pay it forward and help the next guy.
Thanks for your truthfulness. Keep working at it!
Keep working good job
I hope people can see I'm being a bit contrarian here. Also sarcastic.
Yes, resentments are a major factor in my disease, illness, or whatever you wanna call it. I've been getting through it. It's hard but worth it.
I recommend looking into applying the grief cycle to these feelings/thoughts. One thing that helps me address grief/pain/etc. is focusing on what I am grateful for. It helps me to really understand that little by little we can steer the ship of our thoughts and emotions in the direction we want to go.
Funny.
What I find revealing is one 4th step, taken with a daily 10th, I uncover in myself all those little things that once annoyed me, like red lights, long lines at the market, shopping in general when schools are out and all the kids roam the aisles.
Those things don't bother me anymore.
Being willing to look at these resentments and your part in them is a huge step in the right direction.
