Just going to keep walking today. We lost a great man yesterday to cancer. It was his time and we knew this. Still didn’t make it any easier.
Watch over my dad Jon, we know he’ll need it.

Sorry for the loss. The song you referenced is brutal.
Not sure I’d use the word “brutal”. 
It’s a strong song for sure, but not brutal. If it’s hard to listen to, then the truth hurts some times.
The part that gets me is him crying in the booth while recording. He used the song as therapy to get through the grief. The crying was real.
Still not sure on your brutal comment.
