I tell people at my AA meetings about it and one joined, buts that’s it. I am on some Reddit pages and refer people from there also.

Yeah, I’ve tried sharing this site in meetings to others. No go. I actually was recently divorced after long marriage and was tired of being in singlehood. Tried those stupid dating sites. Realized they were rabbit holes and impossible to find others sober. Also, pandemic in full swing with no in person meetings. Did a sober dating search. Came here and realized it really isn’t about dating on here. Got hooked on the recovery aspect. Great people run this place who are all about staying sober. Is a great reinforcement to my meetings. In the midst of monkhood and most probably will remain so till this life expires. Have made peace with me and being single isn’t so bad. Never was my whole life. Love the new me now. Still close to kids and newborns. Blessed in that respect. All about family. And letting my will be run by another who takes care of everything. Works for me.

I stumbled upon this app very early on in sobriety. I was actually looking for sober dating apps and this popped up. The short story is that the dating part wasn’t all that great plus I had no business dating early on. Caused more wreckage. 
This app ended up helping me in my sobriety as Covid shut things down. I told a few people and I see about 5 of my friends on here that I’ve told. It’s cool to see them helping others.

There are no women on this app in my area for dating.

Pandemic. I was isolated. Newly sober but only going to 2 live meetings per week. I did a search in the App Store and Loosid popped up. Honestly I was just seeing what was out there. I downloaded Loosid, Pink Cloud and NOMO within a couple weeks of each other.
In the beginning there were so few ppl it was mostly @amandaloosidsupport44083 starting all the posts and a successful topic got 6-8 responses.
