How do I sleep without passing out drunk?
My brain won’t shut off and melatonin does nothing.
Melatonin and no caffeine help me
That was my greatest challenge in the first 6 months.
Here is what I did..
Set a bed time. Seriously! I never had one I just passed out.
Next. Deep breathing/meditation in bed. It will calm you.
Then. Patience....it's took weeks to get some real sleep.

Steven is on to something. When you set a bed time and meditation it sets an intention inside your mind which is telling the universe that this is true. Also try to not eat a few hours before or drink anything shortly before. Refrain for spicy foods and caffeine hours before you intend to go to bed. YouTube guided meditation for sleep and follow along if you need. Turn soothing music on. Turn down your activity before so your body isn't in the "let's get stuff done" mode. Making sure you feel accomplished and have done something physical that day to help your body feel tired.
