How do u give your will to God
I believe I first needed to understand the word 'will', for me it meant my willingness, willpower and what was I 'willing' to change. Lots of 'wills', maybe check a thesaurus.

I struggle with this as well. I believe in God, believe that the Bible is divinely inspired, pray often, and I still struggle to turn it over to Him… I am jealous of those who have had a “lightning bolt” spiritual experience. All I know for sure is that drinking won’t help​:man_shrugging: Hang in there. We’ll get there sometime

I have always been jealous of that as well.
Hit your knees and start talking. Like a therapy session. Just talk and think there is another listening. Eventually those sessions turn into reality. Helps having someone there watching your back 24/7. Best feeling ever. Act as if even if you don’t believe at first. Takes practice. After awhile, if you keep trying, he’ll show up. No magic wands. Just a better you emerges. Has your will in you worked so far?
Mellisa, that’s a great question. There are instructions in both the big book and the 12&12. I suggest that you get to meetings and get a sponsor to walk through it with you.
