How do y'all cope on the hard days ? What

Stay in a constant state of gratitude and connect with other sober peeps in person. AA, Smart Recovery, The Phoenix.

These are all great ideas! Love it!
Used to sleep when I was having a bad day early in recovery. Today, I use the 12 step program of Alcoholics Anonymous. I see if I’m fearful, starting to have resentments or being selfish. Most of the time all of these are showing up in my bad day behaviors.
Good thing there is a solution; I quickly realized what’s going on and look to the 4th step; which is taking personal inventory. I now can quickly see my part in just about all the situations I’m in now. Then I’ll call my sponsor or if he’s not available I have a few other alcoholics that I can call. I can share this info with them and get their perspective. Then at night I’ll write down, in my journal, my daily reprieve. You can find the questions on page 86. Which also shows us what to do upon awakening and throughout the day.
We pause when agitated. In thinking about our day we may face indecisions. We ask our Higher Power for guidance, inspiration, an intuitive thought or decision. We relax and take it easy. We don’t struggle. We are often surprised how the right answers will come after we have tried this for a while.
We learn to meditate and if circumstances warrant, we ask others to join us. We are no longer running the show. We ask ourselves ā€œThy will be doneā€
Page 84-88 are amazing! Just absolutely love it! I think I just had another spiritual awakening writing this… :joy:
