How do you know when to get help

That's different for everyone. But if you don't like your behavior or if others are afraid of what you might do then it's time to get help.
I normally ask for help when I start asking when I should.
I think if you tried to quit by yourself and couldn’t do it more than twice, then you probably need help from friends, counseling, rehab...
I think if your asking the question maybe it’s too much at that time and needs attention
