How do you stop feeling like you want to kill yourself?
Go to the gym and workout so you have a purpose to better yourself and to love yourself even more because you’re worth living

- Try to come at every negative thought with a positive one, as if you were talking to someone else. Give the good to yourself.
- Have hope that someday those feelings will subside, and for right now, just be here. The desire to live will come. Give it time.
- Live for others for now until you are able to live for yourself.
- Keep talking about it! Don’t go into your head alone. You’re doing the right thing by putting it out there, releasing it.
Thank you so much🥺
If you are interested and available, want to do this short meditation and yoga practice in a few hours?
Good advice above. I got a dog, it helped.
If you’re currently not taking anti depressants I would suggest getting in and seeing a psychiatrist…there are a few drugs on the market that will help with your imbalance. Prayers to you!
Take a long close look at your beautiful little boy.
Easy. Remind yourself how much you deserve every breath you take. That there's someone in the universe thinking of you right now and how selfish it would be to cause them any pain. That you are beautiful and it's ok to feel sad. Just don't sit in it for to long. You're going to be ok. I promise you that too only because I'm ok. The pain you're feeling to cause those thoughs I knew. Only when I started to tell myself I didn't deserve to feel sad anymore is when things got better. Talk to someone who love or can trust tomorrow. Let it all out and see what they have to say. Look for someone supportive if you can't find anyone. A stranger I find works best to be honest. They'll give the most truthful response because they don't know. Which allows them to be honest.
I felt this way for years. I’ve been sober from narco and pharma for 13 months, 9 months w/o alcohol. I also quit smoking.
I pray and meditate daily. Commit to 90 meetings in 90 days. I thought I was hopeless. I’ve found hope.
I know prayer can be hard for some. I know it was for me.
Find a therapist that you can talk to. Try EMDR. There’s great resources out there.
Fake it until you make it sounds overused and silly but it worked for me.
You’re worth it. Seek emotional sobriety over chemical sobriety by removing the chemical first. Get a baseline in your brain.
Write gratitude lists as often as possible. Be careful what you watch, read, and listen to.
You’re worth it. You have something to offer this world even if you don’t know it…yet.
Go to meetings everyday, don’t use between meetings and call a friend. The steps will work for you in time. Don’t put pressure in yourself. You’re worth it.
I sent you a friend request-where are you in Minneapolis? I’ll be there in June/July and would love to go to meetings with you. I’ll be in Bloomington. Please think about your sweet son before doing anything serious. He loves you.
You please talk to somebody we all love you
Call someone… that’s what helps me.. sending you all the love ❤️🩹❤️🩹
Thank you all so much. You have no idea how much all your advices helped
hopefully today will be a better day.
I like hearing that Annaa-life is ups and downs-so glad you are on your way up. Like the high roller at Valley Fair!!
Heavenly Father, we pray for you to remove these suicidal thoughts and feelings from Annaa Jean. We pray that she finds the courage and strength to overcome her emotions. To look upon your grace and mercy you so kindly give to all of us as a way to peace and a joyous life. We say all of these things in the name of Christ Jesus.
I tried too many times to end my life while I was on meth. After I got sober, those thoughts you are having, I had them as well many times. Sometimes they were so strong tears and sadness would overwhelm me to the point of exhaustion. Which helped me as I would fall asleep.
There were times when I would get into a situation and my initial thought on how to solve it was suicide.
What helped me was working hard in a 12 step program, talking to my therapist (at the time), sharing at group level, medication, eating healthy, exercise ( I hiked a lot in early recovery) and reading a few books by Joel S. Goldsmith.
Please call someone. Your worth it! You have a purpose!
Have a blessed day filled with love and peace within.
I'm in the same situation. I pray to my higher power, make gratitude lists, even though it's difficult to find gratitude some times, and calling someone to talk and get out of my self pity helps a lot.
You go to hospital there’s no shame in seeking professional help. And there is no good reason ever to take your own life. Your here for a reason you need to find that purpose. I know you may think it’s an easy way out or think that no one cares and they won’t miss you. Never ever worry about every one else. We don’t get a second chance at this. You can do go anywhere you want. You can’t be happy if you don’t try. Hit me up I just stopped a dear friend from actually attending. And it was some thing I never ever want to witness again. He got helo went to hospital. You allow them to help you they will
I don’t know what on une other side I’ve heard taking your own life. There’s nothing good
