How has sobriety changed the way you see yourself? Is there a new part of you you’re just starting to get to know?

For a long time I doubted my strength, but now I’m starting to truly get to know the version of me that shows up, keeps promises, and stays grounded. It’s like meeting myself for the first time, and I’m actually proud of who I see.

I love this question!

Honestly...I can't say that the feeling of hate towards myself hasn't changed. It bothers me to exist

I use to drink because I hated myself for the way I lived my life behind alcohol and drugs an it took awhile to get over that , it felt like I had nothing to offer, y my past is my greatest strength

I've learned that it's okay to not be perfect, that acceptance of things out of my control is a feeling of freedom, having accountability is an act of love

Empathy, I never experienced it before. I might have felt sympathy, but there’s a big difference. They like ourselves are sick too. BB pg67!
