I stay busy. My job is boring for the most part. Gym meetings cooking. Best part of meeting is complaining about how great my life is

Staying busy is super important for me. Idle hands and idle mind have taken me out in the past.

I read about sobriety. I go to meetings. I text with sober people. I work. I spend time with my family. I do not feel restless. I feel good.

Greetings from west Chester my friend . It’s only boring in the beginning you will wish for a boring day life gets bigger in recovery! You truly are a miracle

I found something I always wanted to do and did it. I didn’t care if I mess it up or got good at it.The pint is that I enjoyed doing it. And the money I would throw away on stupid things I invested in that

Cheering you on!

Make plans, accept invitations to events within recovery. Get involved, just going to meetings is great, for me helping the local sober living homes keeps me focused. If you have a day sober that you have a chance to help others get there first day and you might make some awesome relationships. This helps me and I hope you find for path. God will always provide a path, have to walk it.
