If you believe in stories in the Bible, you gotta figure the soul we all come from after the flood drank a drug, passed out. Then cursed his grandkid upon waking. We have no clue what the old world looked like, just that mankind was evil and got wiped out. Yet, we do know they used alcohol because first thing Noah did was make it and get drunk. If you believe in those stories, then makes sense we humans have that using gene from the beginning not to mention it had to have been being used in the world before. So, using alcohol comes from mankind’s very beginning since all of the souls today are from that one soul. Jesus drank wine constantly and ate food. Even called himself a glutton and given to drinking wine. I mean, he knew he was gonna get murdered. So why not live it up. Lol.

So, God allowed alcohol into the world and mentions it numerous times in that book because we humans always do the opposite of what not to do. Takes longer for the body to die from alcoholism than from drug use. Had Noah grown a poppy plant instead and done opium, we’d have all OD’d by now. So, the lesser of all evils for mankind to abuse. Alcohol makes you stupid. No wonder most crimes are done on it. We humans ain’t a very bright species.
