Working a program is what you did last night. Doing something different. Uncomfortable. Being willing to admit your way wasn’t working. The cherry on top is waking up the next morning still clothed in self- respect.

I have to remember, my first thought, is usually the wrong thought and I have to remember,I need to act and not react to my thoughts sometime! It gets better! Just sometimes, we need to take it 1 minute at a time! But, we can do it!:pray:t2:

Good morning Abreahna They say nothing changes if nothing changes. I know I’ve got to be rid of old numbers in my phone and replace them with recovery ones. You may hear this in a meeting. “I’ve never heard of someone who
meditated, prayed, read something positive (BB, 12&12)reached out to their sponsor and went to a meeting then they got high.

Andeahna, sending a ton of divine love ur way!
You’re not alone. I’ve been there and please know that it does get easier. I had to make new friends in the program and do new things in the sober community. In short, build a new life in sobriety. Once I truly started, I got Le’s and less dark days & started enjoying life again.
I’m here if you ever want to talk

I suggest understanding what triggered this series of events to incorporate a different strategy towards your recovery. I love you, and pray that you find serenity today.

I’ve pinpointed what triggered it and am working on that to incorporate other strategies towards my recovery. Thank you.
