I almost got high last night

I had contacted my old dealer and an old client for a ride to said dealer. I had the cash money put up to the side and everything. I was fully prepared to risk and ruin everything for “one night” of getting high. We all know it would’ve turned into something more than one night though…

I guess I just want to say I’m so thankful and grateful I didn’t make that choice. Because I’m sick and tired of going to rehabs and I’m sick and tired of fing my life up just to change the way I feel….

Please surround me with love and support right now. I need any and all I can get. Thank you so much.

So proud of you for what u did...reaching out and what you didn't do picking up. There is strength that you have YOU CAN RECOVER!!! I can totally relate of being tired of rehabs and tired of everything else and making a decision to do whatever it takes not to pick up again one day at a time

I understand more and more every day, and I am glad you recognize and detoured your actions for the better. I've been fighting this addiction for over thirty years, and I hope I can keep making the right decisions like you did

I completely understand. It's only been 2 days for me. Not drinking.

I drink one shot and it feels like I'm poisoning myself. Three more I feel great.

Great job! You broke the chain of addiction at its weakest point, between the ritual and the act. That’s hard to do. I’m proud of you!

I am so so proud of you! You were in the thick of it and you chose to keep going instead of stepping backwards that is amazing if I was you, I would turn around and patch yourself on the back because what could’ve been disastrous you decided that your sobriety was worth more! That’s amazing super proud of you
