I always tell me daughter,"there's nothing a woman can't do that man can do, IF NOT BETTER." Tonight, I proved that there's nothing a dad can't do than mom can do. My daughter is ten and I have custody of her. She lives with me full time and we have no support from family or mom. As a career chef I've always known that I can do anything I put my heart into. Raising a little girl alone is very hard though. For instance, tomorrow is picture day and she needs her hair straightened for the dress shes wearing. Who do you think is doing that? My first time straightening anything with a flat iron besides using it to make rosin; but that's it. It was a success. Took a very long time and if your woman you know perfection can't be rushed. My daughter looked at me afterwards and said,"daddy there's nothing you can't do, I'm so proud of you and I always believe in you." I wake up everyday and bust my donkey for those moments. Hearing those words from my lil queen let's me know I'm doing something right in life. 10 points for team Tommy.
