Yes, it can be done! When I put down the substances my hearing improved. That is, I understood what I was hearing much, much better! I couldn't believe it. Keep coming back.

I’ll be very honest it was strange to me at first because I performed at an old man bday party and they started the party with a prayer (nothing wrong with it, but it has been the first time I had seen something like that at a party) so yeah maybe it was an awakening, I wasn’t even that tired once I was done performing
