I choose to look at my addiction and recovery exactly this way. One may wish to sugar coat the word addict or alcoholic, and spin the insane thinking to sound more positive, but this works fine for me. Thanks for sharing

“I understood myself only after I destroyed myself. And only in the process of fixing myself, did I know who I really was. Recovery is something that you have to work on every single day, and it’s something that it doesn’t get a day off.
