I am an alcoholic and could use some support. A really hard day, trying not to drink to be honest. I was going to an IOP support group, in Seattle. But had to rerun to my swing shift job. The place I was going, did not have a daytime IOP. The Councelor is trying to transfer me to a daytime IOP, but it will be a few weeks, before I can get into one. Was supposed to leave for New Orleans, this morning to see my boyfriend, I couldn’t wait to to see, he is so proud of me. But do to hurricane IDA couldn’t go, and now have to wait. Not whining, just really feel like drinking today, but trying like hell, no to. Not sure how this app works, but will try anything to just stay on the straight and narrow

I haven’t . Your so right, found an online speaker meeting in 3 minutes. Still haven’t drank. Thanks no so much, for your suggestion and support m, really means a lot!! If you ever need support, let me know!! We are all in this together!!

Yeah, got to an AA online meeting, and really liked it. It’s zoom or in person. For now, I’m going to do it online. Don’t have a sponsor yet, but my family members, are so supportive, and my friends. Didn’t drink today, thanks to them. Very grateful. Thanks for your reply, if you ever need support, feel free to talk, Thanks, have a great Labor Day weekend!

Vivian, that’s wonderful to hear that you’ve taken the step to AA! I’m a huge AA member. We have a seat anyway in the world at an AA meeting, how cool is that? The love I get when I go to an AA meeting is blissfully beautiful.
I’m glad to hear your family is being very supportive. There’s Al-non for those close to you that want to better understand what your going through and can help them as well.

Don’t make a decision angry or sad without asking for help first. Stay positive and continue asking for help. Life is better sober. It takes longer than we would like however.

Getting these feelings off your chest helps so much. That’s exactly how this app works. When you get craving pour yourself into this and you always feel better. You aren’t alone so many millions feel the same way. But we never give in. We keep moving forward.

Absolutely, got a lot of support, yesterday and because of it, friends and family support plus my boyfriend’s, it helped get to an online meeting that was incredible!! I usually try to dodge AA, and use Smart Recovery. But they are few and far between online. Haven’t drank for 3 days now. Thanks for your reply and support. I’m year to support you, anytime you need it! Thanks again, Vivian
