I am grateful for 9 days of sobriety and staying calm today after my cat destroyed plants and broke ceramic flower pots. Before i would have grabbed a nip from m my husband’s whiskey jug.

I know you're ticked off at kitty right now, but you didn't pick up over it! Excellent!.. Did I mention that animals are the number one listening companion on the planet?
No, really! I vent, and rant at my puppy often.. They're empathetic and compassionate and responsible for numerous follow-ups of grand serenity.. You did good Kat..
Without all of my cats and one dog I would be lost I talk to them my alcoholic husband will not hold a conversation with me and he does not support me.

So so sorry Kath, but at the risk of sounding greedy, because after all, this is a greedy program in that it's "self first" before you can help others!. But it's his loss!. Incidentally my friend, there are 29 million of us out here that are willing to listen to you!.
