I am grateful for the bad days because they make the good days better.
Tabby they really do give you a great perspective don’t they. Wonderful gratitude post. Have a blessed evening wherever you may be.
Thank you very much! I'm just in plain old ohio lol
Well, hello Ohio. I’m all the way on the West Coast just south of Seattle in Tacoma Washington.
Absolutely , no one promised us to have wonderful , everyday carefree feelings. Congratulations.\nAre in order to you!l
Love, Lauren Marston
That's awesome! I bet it's beautiful there!
Thank you!!!
When the weather breaks it absolutely is the winter is drizzly and cloudy and gloomy. Summer temperatures are in the 80s. Winter temperatures are in the 40s spring and fall are absolutely beautiful. We just had our tulip festival that happens way up north of Seattle about an hour and a half to two hours from where I live. It is a very beautiful area. I’ve lived here for 29 years.
That's awesome!!! I'll have to Google pictures.
So when it’s not cloudy which is about six months out of the year, the weather is absolutely stunning. You can see Mount Rainier, which is third tallest mountain in North America. Over 14,300 and something feet I think. On a really clear day, you can see all the way up north to Mount Baker. If you hike up onto the north west side of Rainier you can see all the way into Canada to Mount Whistler, and then south of Mount Baker and then you’re on Rainier so looking south from Rainier, you can see Mount Saint Helens and then all the way down to Mount Hood, but only on a beautiful clear sunny day. You can always see the Olympic range from Seattle and Tacoma that tops out at about 9000 feet on Mount Olympus. It’s a beautiful area. A lot of people that come here for vacation. Our work are visiting a friend end up moving here. The weather is mild. It’s very expensive, especially in Seattle. When I move your 30 years ago, it was cool AF cheap and just tons of fun so Big named bands all the time out of restaurants every day. Well, my ex-wife and I got married. We lived the rock ‘n’ roll Lifestyle downtown. It was amazing. Now it’s so expensive. I don’t even go to Seattle anymore Parking to go out to dinner can cost you like $50-$70. How changes are constant and when you get old enough. Those changes are very dramatic over overtime.
Hope you have a lovely day!
That sounds beautiful but I think I'll just admire from a distance. I definitely would not want to live in a pricey area!!!
Yes, Seattle sucks when I first moved here in the 90s. It was amazing. I think my first apartment right downtown was like less than $300 a month.
I live south of there in Tacoma, which is cheaper than the Seattle area. It’s also a little more urban and cool. Seattle’s just full of all the techno people. Tacoma has good music, good food good atmosphere.
Oh ok. Personally I would love nothing more than to live off grid. I miss the country so much
But that does sound very nice
Oh my God, I’ve been wanting to do that for so long tabby up in the mountains away from the world couple of paddocks for the animals growing my own food spending time in nature that sounds perfect to me
During the pandemic after my divorce, I sold a house and had some money. I was helping my real estate agent flip a house she bought and I found this piece of property up in the mountains in eastern Washington and this little bitty town called Republic 10 acres on the very top of the mountain talked him down like 13,000 cash. My agent blew the offer because she her in the house and move to the mountains. It was September 2020 and the town got up to 4 feet of snow a year and this was 2800 feet above the town so there was no way I could’ve moved that winter. I almost had my little mountain retreat.
That sounds heavenly. But I'm sure it fell through for a reason. Something better will come along I'm sure
Interesting love it
