I am grateful for the roof over my head. The clothes on my back, running water in the house, electricity and air conditioning. I am grateful for the food that I am eating, for a somewhat Able Body and a pretty sound mind most of the time. I am grateful for a good friends and for my family. I am grateful to have been able to help people in their situations over the last couple of days. I am grateful for love and support, forgiveness, privilege, and responsibility.
I am grateful to have been born in the United States and to have been born when I was and not today, and not before slavery was abolished. I am forever grateful to the men and women who serve and sacrifice so that we can enjoy our rights, comforts and freedoms
