I am grateful to be in an inpatient treatment center. I am thankful I have a supporting family and friends that want the best for me and want to understand my sickness. I am thankful for my dogs at home. I am thankful for my good physical health and my improving mental health. I am thankful that there are others who share the same struggles with the human condition as we make each other stronger and it makes me feel less alone. I am thankful for a bed to sleep in and food in my belly. I am thankful for my higher power and my community. The one I am in in inpatient/the one I have in family back home/ and the future community I will build after treatment.
I am thankful for NA/AA/support groups.
