Son graduated on Thursday and I was able to be there without my crutches or a cane in six months. my daughter was so sweet and beautiful. She made a beautiful statement. She said I feel like a proud mother. She was so happy for her little brother.

Your post brought back a great memory for me. Yes Jesus was the biggest inspiration and influence for me to clean up. But every time I had an urge to have a drink I’d look at my kids… and it went away. So proud to be involved in their lives and coherently. Thanks for sharing!

Yes, I am recovering allow me to break the bondage of my childhood. I am no longer a prisoner at home. I was able to be a dad that my dad wasn’t!!!!!!
