I am new to this app! I am 6 months sober and a senior in college. Just moved to a new place for school and I don’t know anyone. Been very lonely and challenging, so trying to find sober community!

I posted this info a few months ago. It’s a list from 2018 of some colleges that offer some sort of recovery program. Maybe there’s an updated list out there. Regardless, I would check with your guidance counselor to see if the school has any resources available. If not, perhaps you could start a recovery club or something along those lines.

Take that booze money and invest in a total market fund. You’ll thank yourself in a decade when you can actually buy a house…

Bailey you are incredible for giving yourself this gift at this point in your life. I’m unsure where you live but what I’ve found is that I meet people I like when I do what I enjoy doing. So go sailing or to a play. Eat at that restaurant you want to try. If you build the life you want, it makes it easier to meet the right people.
