I have no plan. I’m told I’m leaving rehab and that tomorrow is my last day of my program. I had Covid so I had 6 days in isolation, which shouldn’t count…. The job I was planning on working on after just fell through as well! so I don’t have any idea of what to do now:((((
Life on life’s terms … stay strong and have faith check out some meetings ask around the fellowship what are your options
You made it through the hardest part. You have strength and courage. Keep moving forward, you'll be just fine.
Hey Janelle! I am sorry to hear that your work plans have fallen through, though keep in mind the progress you have made in your journey of sobriety. Take the time to truly speak with your higher power and it'll work out. (sounds easier said than done, though feed the faith not the fear.) Stay strong & above all stay sober. God bless
If your detox was a success, you got plenty of momentum....healthy habits and establish routine ....it gets better
find a halfway house to go to before you leave.....
I’d go to lots of meetings daily and share your dilemma. Solutions show up when we stay in the solution. Meetings, sharing, staying positive.
When you feel the urge to use or drink, play the whole scenario out in your head from beginning to end. Our brains trick us into self doubt. You have so many people who truly understand the difficulties around being sober. Being sober is almost the easiest part the hardest part is finding yourself again. Like you said, surround yourself with good people with similar interests, groups are great. You have a lot of support on this web site❤️
So happy that you are completing rehab! In your state or county there are job service organizations to help you with employment. Contact your county social services for info. Our county in New York has plenty of services for employment opportunities. Best of luck! Wishing you happiness always!!
