I am so grateful that I was able to wake up today without a drink or a drug. The obsession has been lifted and any day above ground is a great day and as long as I don't pick up a drink or a drug, it's even a greater day.

This is Richie and I am also grateful that I got a second gift that's sobriety 
that many people get a first gift. That's sobriety but for me to go out 3 months before my 11 years and be out there for 3 and 1/2 years and to be able to celebrate one year on August 11th. I came up with this prayer myself to thine own self be true. I turn my will and my life over to the care of you. I accept everything that comes to me. Thank you for the second gift of sobriety. That's how I start my prayer in the morning
