This App helps me throughout the day, every day if necessary. It's all of the resources combined, and rt at your fingertips, accessible all day & night, any day & night. It's been very beneficial for me. Especially when in a crisis or struggling type situation. I hope it helps you as well.

I also have had this app for a few months, this is my first time writing . I’m in almost the Sam boat . I use meth and haven’t been able to stop. I’m afraid of the detox don’t really know what will happen, and I have a dog that is my life , and I have absolutely nobody that can help with him if I won’t be able too , I hear I’ll be very tired and not want to get out of bed. But I really want to be clean

This app is a small tool but you need treatment and I suggest attending meetings. Will power alone will only get you so far before you break in most cases.

I love this app. It has been great in my recovery. Helping people and getting help from people with my similar issues has been a game changer for me. Dm me if u need to talk

This app is a support app if you really want to stop
Make an appointment with your doctor and be honest with how much you actually drink and use. Ask if it’s safe for you to quit. You may need medication or medical detox to safely stop.
Get to a meeting AA or NA. Join a group a get a sponsor the get active. Go to a meeting everyday at first. There are inperson and online meetings Then there’s a program of recovery the 12 steps. A life you can’t even imagine is waiting for you. And we’re here at this app to listen and support you.

Everything is hard at first. Thats where the saying practice makes perfect comes from.

Keep trying.

Theres no one solution. I gotta do a few different things a day to help me stay sober. 1. Accepting i cant do it alone.
2. Try something new.
I have this app, my sponsor, meetings, educational opportunities to learn more about my body and mind. How and why it does the things it does.

Keep busy. Dont let the negativity bring you down.

I had the same problem and went through the same cycle telling myself I could cut back. I'd only do it on weekends or special occasions and that never worked. I had to really accept that I was an alcoholic and drug addict and could not drink like other people
I think acceptance was one of the biggest challenges for me
Once I truly open myself up though and started going to meetings and found a sponsor and got honest with myself and got out of my own f****** way my life has been so much better. That's just my two cents of free advice. You can do it. It will not be easy, but it will be the best thing you ever did for yourself :two_hearts:

I love Brandon Novak too his documentaries are EYE OPENING

I just got on this app on my bellybutton birthday. It's hard out here especially if you struggle with addiction. My main thing is being held accountable an being completely honest with myself. You can do this. Try it one day @ a time. I've been sober for a bit an so far the reach out on here has helped me through a urge I've had. Something about relating to others an not having to weed out the ones secretly trying to just date me has helped :pray:YOU GOT THIS

Hey. Get you a sponsor, someone who can take you through the steps and give you a solution.

Message me anytime.
You can do this. Got to.
Lots of love

How are you doing? You will be very tired, but your body needs the rest.

When you go to meetings you come across people that genuinely care about you and your recovery. You may even be able to find someone there who'd be willing to help w your dog. Seriously. Pray about it. Your not alone...your higher power can work in mysterious ways...he can find the answers that you've been searching for....trust me...I am living proof...what do you got to loose? I am praying for you.

When I reached that exact point that you’re at, I called the number on the back of my insurance card and I got myself into a treatment program. I knew the only way I put it down for even a minute as if I went somewhere where I couldn’t have it.The Rehab in California are the nicest in the country and they take insurance from all over here. Feel free to message me. I’m happy to give you the phone number as the place that I’m at right now.

Check with your heart doctor I replace alcohol with 2 red bulls a day

You’re already doing the first step by showing up here. Everything counts. Don’t try to map the whole thing though rn, just focus on today.

Check if anyone here is sponsoring, and look up your local or virtual meetings so you’ve got people around you. Take it by the minute if you have to. Ask for help encouragement here. Proud of you for showing up

Yeah if you have never been to treatment or only iops. I would strongly urge you to do this. Having the time away from the people, places and situations that trigger you to use is very helpful. Being surrounded 24/7 will help you learn tools, relate to others and grow in ways you'd never expect.

I find the encouragement to be helpful. It lets me know I am not alone. I was afraid of the detox phase. This app helped me get through it. I wish you the best.
