I been in prison 9 yrs I finally get to work release where I don't have to be locked in a cell all night and I can wear regular clothes and get a job during the day and for the week I've been here I've been getting high all day and I can't stop if I violate here They will send me back to the institute I left
I could I screw up this opportunity. Someone please tell me what I need to do.i can't tell the staff here and all the inmates are just as high as I am.
Gotta take a stand for yourself Robert. Ask yourself do you want your physical and mental freedom more than the high you are chasing. You have an opportunity and choices, many blessings on choosing the best choice for you:pray:t4:

Hello good sir. I am glad and proud that you worked hard to get work release. That shows dedication and diligence on your part. It is easy to fall back into old behaviors just like that once there is freedom and other people are participating in the same detrimental behaviors that you have been kept away from or were working so hard not to go back to. You can get through this and don't let the prior behaviors of which you have done so far dictate your future. The system is really fluted up and yes some staff is sicker than the offenders..yet again don't let that define who you want to become or use it as an excuse or justification to continue stinking thinking as the kids say.. focus on your goals and remember what you really want instead of feel good instant gratification of the moment. It is a huge step to reach out to strangers so thank you for doing so. Please keep up the hard work. Pardon the long reply.
Robert stay strong.
You did time and I'm assuming you didn't mess up in prison. So dont do it now. You are done with the hard part, you're free now. Think about all the people who missed you. My husband was locked up for 4 yrs and hasn't gone back. You can do this
