It's an accomplishment every day you succeed at being sober. But every time you choose whats best for you, your choosing a better future. Not just for you but everyone around you.

Just because you are thinking about something, doesn't always mean that you want it in your life. I often think about my ex, but I sure as H*#l don't want him back in my life! LOL.
Thinking about all of the 'good times' that we had, and reminiscing fondly is ok, but remember the reasons that you wanted to het that out of your life. Everything good, always has a bad side.
That being said, you need to followbyour own path, your own heart, and do what is right for you. Just be sure that it IS what is right for you.

Just remember that that “thinking “is not really you. It’s the pathways in your brain through years of “drink/use recover repeat” that have been worn in to your subconscious like Roman ruts.
Through the years I have fallen pray to those thoughts more times than I care to admit. In the end, I have to remind myself drinking is not living. It’s only a half life. Sit with your feelings. Try to figure out the why. I know way easier said than done. Stay strong. We are all here with you.

Thank you David!

One of the biggest reasons I haven’t gave up man, thank you

One of the biggest things I’ve been doing has been changing my way of thinking and the pathways in my brain. With time I’ve learned that’ll pass and I’ll create a new way of thinking. Thank you!
