I cant quit for more then 5 days … I tried groups for 5/6 years ,didn’t work for me): I was in IOP worked for 6 months then my Sponser from that IOP offer me once we hangout and I relapse … I don’t have family ) tough story … and no money for recovery ,no need detox cause I’m doing it by my self many times I can quit for 10 days …
BUT when it’s between me and myself it’s never working and I’m scared …

Well the one thing is you are reaching out you are not isolating you can do this just put your mind to it eventually you’ll get tired of getting tired

the addiction always win in the end…):

For me currently at least

You’re worth it. The addicted mind is the mind of a resourceful survivor.

You’re as much a survivor as you are an addict.

I don’t know your exact situation but I feel like we have similarities.

The only thing that worked for me was going to 90 meetings in 90 days. Not using between meeting and calling a friend.

I don’t like the phrase fake it until you make it. I say believe it until it happens.

You’re worth it sir.

Joe I know the feeling. I've been an addict for almost 30 years. Started when I was kid and never really got fully sober. I'm going a week now with no substances. What I have found that works for me is having supportive, positive, and strong people who don't put up with excuses in my life. People who make me believe in myself and know that I can beat this. I used to try and focus on weeks, months, and even having a year of sobriety. Today the only thing I care about is going to sleep to clean. When I do that I know that I will wake up tomorrow with a better fighting chance. Your mindset needs to change and you have to tell yourself your worth it. That you believe in yourself and love yourself first. Everyday you wake up find something that shows your reflection and when you see that man looking back tell him this,"Joe, I love you so much and believe you can do this today. That today you will be victorious and no matter what happens you will not stay on the ground. That you will get up and keep getting up." We all fall but it's not about the fall it's about getting back on your two feet. For so many years in my life I thought I was alone in this journey. Today I can say I am not alone. I have people who care about me and want nothing but the best for me. Shi* I don't even know you and want the best for you because I know your better than this. Because of you weren't then you would not be reaching out. Be proud of yourself for doing so and know that this platform has a lot of people like us that have fallen countless times but have had courage to get back up with the help of others. I'm sticking my hand out for you. All you have to do is make the choice to grab and I will pull you up. Don't be hesitant to reach out if you need someone to talk to or even to listen. Own the day my friend and don't let it own you. I believe in you now believe in yourself.

The addiction wins only if you want it too.

I'm going through the same thing brother! Fortunately I've seen in the past week just 1 relapse can be deadly. I'm trying to step back and do it for people like us who may never get out and don't seem to feel that fear. Denying it feels great. Don't give up.
